Dr. Woodward graduated from Michigan State University in 1982. She opened Island Animal Clinic the same year. She cares for small animals and equine patients. Dr. Woodward is also an adjunct professor for Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, teaching veterinary students in equine ambulatory medicine and is USDA Accredited.
For over ten years now she has also participated in the Downriver Career Technical Consortium, mentoring in the Downriver School to Work program. Dr. Woodward also breeds Westphalian horses, has 7 horses, 1 dog, and 2 cats of her own.
Cynthia Kalicki, DVM
Dr. Kalicki is also a graduate of Michigan State University. Go Green. She combines traditional and alternative methods to treat her small animal patients. Dr. Kalicki has been with our clinic for over ten years. She mentors with the Downriver Career Technical Consortium. She has an adorable dog named Daisy that she adopted from the Grosse Ile animal shelter (T.A.I.L.S.)
Tyler Ryan, DVM
Tracy (Veterinary Technician)
Tracy has been with the clinic for over fifteen years. She has been in the veterinary field for over 18 years. She is the proud grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren. Tracy is a big asset to the Island Animal Clinic; she has one cat named Itty.
Nancy has returned to Island Animal Clinic as the receptionist. A graduate from The University of Detroit and an Army officer she is also the proud mother of a West Point graduate and now a Lieutenant in the Army. Nancy has one cat named Hudson.
